Annie Brown is the Chief Procurement Officer at WPP Group, a creative transformation company. Over the last two years Annie has been leading the transformation of procurement, with the premise of building a function that can be a true commercial partner to the group. 

Prior to joining WPP, Annie spent 20 years working at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) where she held a series of leadership roles, becoming the SVP Procurement & Cost Efficiency in 2012. Annie led the organisation’s procurement transformation, evolving and future-proofing the function to become a strong commercial partner to the rest of the business.  

Annie has a passion for growing and nurturing talent and coaches and empowers her teams to thrive. Annie is an extremely well respected and recognised leader in her field and has featured in the CIPS Procurement Power List, as well as being a CIPS Fellow.
